Choosing your clean
Regular or deep cleaning: which does your home need?
Start with the condition of your home and what you want to achieve. A regular visit keeps everyday tasks in hand; a deep clean gives you time to agree a more detailed reset.
The difference at a glance
A regular clean is built around the tasks that return each week: dust on accessible surfaces, crumbs on floors, kitchen worktops and bathroom cleaning. A deep clean is a one-off visit with a more detailed set of priorities, agreed around your home’s condition.
| Your situation | A useful starting point |
|---|---|
| Your home is reasonably tidy and you want help keeping up | Regular cleaning |
| Cleaning has fallen behind, or particular rooms need extra attention | Discuss a deep clean |
| You are handing a property back at the end of a tenancy | End-of-tenancy cleaning |
When a regular clean makes sense
If the main goal is to keep your home comfortable from week to week, start with regular home cleaning. A weekly or fortnightly preference lets the team plan around the rooms you use most.
- Keep accessible surfaces dusted and visible belongings tidy.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs, and mop hard floors.
- Clean kitchen and bathroom surfaces within the agreed time.
Tell us which rooms matter most. If you work from home, for example, you might want the desk area prioritised and the room cleaned outside your calls.
When to discuss a deep clean
A deep clean is worth discussing when you need more attention than an everyday maintenance visit. Describe the areas that need work, how long it has been since they were cleaned, and any surfaces that require particular care.
It can be a useful starting point before regular visits, or a one-off refresh when your needs change. The label “deep clean” does not mean every possible task is automatically included: the team agrees the checklist and time with you first.
Be specific about extras
Inside ovens, inside fridges, interior windows and linen changes are optional extras in the quote builder. Specialist carpet cleaning is a separate enquiry; vacuuming a carpet and treating it are different jobs.
Let us know about delicate finishes, restricted access or furniture that blocks an area. Avoid assuming that large furniture will be moved or every high surface can be reached.
Choose with a short room-by-room list
- Write down the rooms you want cleaned.
- Pick your three most important tasks.
- Separate routine tasks from extras.
- Share your postcode, home size and preferred timing.
